Who should attend: Employees and sub-contractors of LG Applied Representatives or Applied Distribution partners engaged in the service and repair of LG VRF air conditioning equipment. Mechanical contractors who meet the prerequisites below may also register and attend this course.
Please note: attendance in this class will be limited to only those individuals that have satisfied all prerequisites as described below.
What you will learn: You will become familiar with the breadth of LG's product lineup of central control options such as the following; Central Controller, AC Smart II, ACP, AC Manager, Power Distribution Indicator and BMS gateways such as BACnet and Lonworks. Plus LG's line of Dry Contacts. Students will learn how all controls are connected, addressed and integrated into the control network including dip-switch and rotary dial settings. Most common problems and troubleshooting techniques will also be covered.
How you will learn: The student will be familiarized with the breadth of our product lineup as well as a multitude of common controller configurations which are presented in detail and guided through the steps of the troubleshooting process by means of classroom lecture, lab activity, and discussion.
1) Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, and applied systems
2) Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Power Point
and Word recommended:
What to bring to class:
1) Laptop PC running Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 o with a web browser of Internet Explorer 8.0
or higher with a minimum of Excel, Power Point, and Word installed. Power Point is also preferred.
